You can use headings of level 2
You can also use headings of level 3
Text styling such as bold, italic and underlined will translate just fine into our website. Itâs furthermore possible to have a link to an external webpage and also to have a link to another notion page (in this example, just another section on the page itself). If these are links to other content guideline pages, they will be transformed to a website link, pretty neat, right?
- Bullet lists
- Also work
- And the same goes for
- Ordered lists
Doâs and donâts
Provide specific, actionable instructions that team members can follow. Avoid vague language and ensure that each guideline gives clear direction on what to do or not do. Ideally, provide context and explain why we have this guideline.
Note! That the images will need to have a â  or â icons to indicate if the are a do or donât. You can have any number of do and donât examples (e.g. 2 doâs, 1 donât, 1 do and two donâts)

You can create columns like these
And put any content you want here.
- For instance
- A bullet list
But! Stick with two if you canâŚ
We donât have that much horizontal space on the website, so try not to go overboard.
| Tables work | As you would | Expect |
|---|---|---|
| You | Can | Have |
| Any | Number | Of |
| Rows | Youâd | Like |
Toggles can be used as well if you need to hide some secondary content, butâŚ
Why would you want to hide information really?
Callouts work, but styling is controlled by the website (any emoji or icon will be replaced with a Telescope âiâ icon and we only support grey âinfoâ callouts for now).
A divider like the one above âď¸ can also be used, no problem!

Internal links
In Notion, it's possible to link to another section (or "block") within a page. For instance, we might want to link to the Doâs and Donâts heading on this page. We support linking to headings on the page, but not to other kinds of blocks (paragraphs, images, or similar) as this is uncommon.
Not supported
- Heading 1: Technically, this works. But there should be exactly one
h1tag on a webpage - Databases: These will require manual setup. Consider a regular table first.
- Quotes: Well, you can add them, but they will be rendered same as a callout.
- Todo lists: Why would you?
