# Icons

How to request a new icon or contribute one yourself.

1. You [reach out to us](https://getpleo.slack.com/archives/CPCFSJK1R) and tell us about the icon you need or want to contribute
2. We either create the icon in Figma or help you craft it
3. We update the [UI Icons](https://www.figma.com/design/iWrltAt3Sgulfn6u0Q3A16/Re-brand-%F0%9F%94%AD-UI-Icons---Telescope?node-id=3657-4451&p=f&t=SBi3RwJxUUQ4Por3-0) Figma library and publish the changes
4. We update the icons package and release a new version
5. We update our applications (e.g. [product-web](https://github.com/pleo-io/web/tree/main/apps/product-web)) to use the new icons package
6. We notify you that the icon is now availlable for use in code
